Providence Health & Services Clinic Practice Support Manager II - PSO in Anchorage, Alaska
Providence is calling a Clinic Practice Support Manager II to (Providence Physician Service Organization, Shift, 0.0) at Providence Regional Building in Anchorage, Alaska.
Under general supervision this position ensures consistency and quality in operations by directing the business operations of three or more clinics and/or 10 or more providers according to established policies and practices. Directly influences public image of physicians and other health care providers to clinic customers and the public.
In this position you will:
Ensure the timely and accurate completion of daily system/operational activities.
Supervise all administrative employees.
Develop, revise and implement operational and system billing policies and procedures, charge tickets, registration forms and patient statements.
Assess, assist in design, and implementation of software most appropriate for the management and daily operations.
Develop yearly and ensure the Clinic operates within budget.
Perform various accounting activities, i.e., billing, adjustments, posting, collections, etc.
Implement the marketing plan, oversees community outreach projects and programs.
Implement programs to maintain and track excellent patient/public relations at the practice site.
Perform case management and peer review with professional staff and Director.
Required qualifications for this position include:
3 years experience managing physician based clinic practice operations
A minimum of 5 years management level work experience
This position requires a highly motivated individual with a positive attitude
Must possess strong communication and organizational skills to ensure that assignments are completed in a timely manner
Must have the ability to maintain a professional attitude while performing multiple tasks
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
ACMPE or FACMPE
Previous multi-specialty clinic management experience
