Providence Health & Services Senior Director Hospitalist Program in Everett, Washington
Providence is calling a Senior Director for the Hospitalist Program to Providence Medical Group in Mill Creek, WA.
This is a full time and benefits eligible position.
Senior Director (SD) is accountable for program development and comprehensive operational leadership of Hospitalist programs.
In this position you will:
Leading the business and management for all assigned programs.
The SD ensures optimal performance of services and programs inclusive of programmatic and strategic development and broad fiscal responsibility.
The SD works in partnership with the Regional Medical Center- Everett’s Chief Medical Officer (PRMCE CMO) as their dyad partner- and shares joint accountability for clinical performance (quality, safety and high reliability), customer satisfaction and financial performance to meet or exceed the goals for the Northwest service area.
In addition - ensures quality staffing of assigned programs and managers.
Plans, organizes, manages and directs project and program activities in support of Northwest service area and enterprise-wide strategies and initiatives.
Partners with Senior and Executive leadership in formulating, administering and evaluating strategy and policy, especially in relation to key areas of responsibility.
Works collaboratively with hospital informatics, transition planning, and discharge management departments to promote hospitalist programs’ role in maximizing programmatic efficiencies (such as LOS improvement and coordination with ambulatory resources).
Represents Providence NW on regional, enterprise and community committees as needed. Supports the mission and core values of Providence St. Joseph Health through responsible and effective work performance.
This position reports to PMG NW Vice President of Operations/Chief Operating Officer, serves as the Dyad partner of the PRMCE CMO, and has matrixed accountability to Providence NW Vice President of Service Lines.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree in Health Care, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Five years (or greater) of experience in a healthcare business related field
Three years recent management or leadership experience, preferably in Hospital-based health services
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration or Business or related field (MHA or MBA)
Ambulatory healthcare related leadership experience
Registered Nurse or other significant clinical background
Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
