This opening is for a full time physical therapist in a 25-bed
Critical Access Hospital. The need is for inpatient adult and long term care
settings with occasional outpatient coverage. Patient populations include but
are not limited to: orthopedic, neurological, medical/surgical, ICU, and
In this position you will:
•Provide physical therapy services in a 25-bed critical
•Plan and implement specific treatment programs for
individual patients according to the principles and practice of physical
and guidance to other caregivers to assist them in following through on the
therapeutic plan of care.
• Function on an interdisciplinary team and provide
assistance to coworkers, patients, and visitors as needed.
•Assist in promotion of the department through community
awareness outreach projects.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
Current license to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Alaska
Basic Life Support (BLS) or ability to obtain within ninety (90) days of date of hire
Current Alaska driver’s license with clean driving record and proof of vehicle insurance or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master’s or Doctorate degree
One (1) year of clinical experience in physical therapy
