Providence Health & Services Clinical Dietitian in Milwaukie, Oregon


Providence is calling a Clinical Dietitian to Providence Newberg Medical Center in Newberg, OR.

This position will travel between Providence Newberg Medical Center, Providence Milwaukie Hospital, and Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center.

In this position you will:

  • Use clinical nutrition standards of care to assess patient nutritional needs.

  • Develop and implement eating plan to promote optimum nutrition intake and health related maintenance.

  • Teaches patients, family and care providers principals of the nutrition plan, counseling and supporting patients and clients as needed, taking into account individual patients’ special physical or age related needs.

  • Assist with the development of on-going nutrition education programs and literature.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • License to practice in the state of Oregon

  • Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration

  • Dietitians eligible to take the American Dietetic Association (ADA) approved registration must successfully complete the examination and become registered within 6 months of hire date

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • 1 year experience in clinical setting for generalist
