Providence Health & Services RN - Adolescent Psychiatric in Missoula, Montana
Providence is calling a Registered Nurse (RN) (Adolescent Psychiatric, Variable Day Shift, 0.5FTE, 20 hours per week with the opportunity to pick up more hours) to St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana. In this position you will:
Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment in which nursing care is delivered to the mentally and emotionally ill adolescent.
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patients’ care.
Effectively advocate for ethical and holistic care by partnering in care planning to promote the autonomy, dignity, rights, values and beliefs of those we serve.
Be accountable for safety, identify and correct problems, and integrate evidence, and best practice into nursing care.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current licensure in the State of Montana as a Registered Nurse
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Non-violent Crisis Intervention certification within 2 years of hire and re-certification every 2 years thereafter
Prior experience working with adolescents who have mental/emotional problems
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- 1 year of experience in acute psychiatric care
