Providence Health & Services Front Office Scheduling Coordinator - Specialty in Portland, Oregon
Providence is calling a Scheduling Coordinator to Providence Medical Group Specialty and Integrated Medicine at Providence St. Vincent in Portland, OR.
This is an exciting patient facing position, in a large multi-specialty clinic! If you enjoy getting to know your patients on a first name basis, are proficient at handling multiple requests at once while maintaining high levels of customer service, we want you!
An ideal candidate would have experience in or passion for oncology, and experience working in a medical office. Join our team, and help us further our mission of providing compassionate care to the poor and vulnerable.
In this position, you will:
Coordinate scheduling of office and hospital services for patients includingscheduling appointments with external providers or ancillary departments toensure coordinated care for patients.
Coordinate billing of hospital servicesand office charges.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High school diploma or equivalent
2 years of working experience in a medical clinic
Experience with Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) and International Classification of Diseases, 10th Revision (ICD10) codes
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Extensive customer service experience
