Providence Health & Services Respiratory Therapy Working Supervisor in Seaside, Oregon


Providence is calling a Respiratory Therapy Supervisor (0.9 FTE, Rotating/Variable Shift) to Providence Seaside Hospital in Seaside, OR.

In this position, you will:

  • Schedule, coordinate, supervise and perform respiratory therapy activities.

  • Be responsible for effective and efficient implementation of policies and procedures in the department.

  • Be responsible for the evaluation of the department employees.

  • Be responsible for the oversight of the schedule and time worked.

  • Delegate department functions to respiratory staff as appropriate.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Associate's degree

  • Graduate from accredited Respiratory Therapy Program

  • Must hold current Oregon (OR) Respiratory Therapy licensing from the Board as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)

  • Must have registry from the National board for Respiratory Care as a RRT or RCP

  • Oregon State licensure

  • Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) mandatory

  • 5 years of clinical Respiratory Therapy (RT) experience

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Supervisory experience
