Providence Health & Services Receptionist in Seattle, Washington
Providence is calling a Receptionist (0.4 FTE - 16 hours per week, Day Shift) to Providence ElderPlace in Seattle, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
The schedule for this position is Saturday and Sunday, 8:00AM until 4:30PM.
In this position you will:
Greet incoming staff, clients, and visitors. Provide direction appropriately and confidentially, while responding courteously to all inquiries.
Answer multi-line phone system directing calls accurately.
Record and deliver messages to staff and clients.
Make and arrange appointments for special events, meals, shopping services, and/or medical appointments as needed or by request.
Make emergency reports to the director.
Sort and distribute incoming mail and faxes appropriately.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or equivalent
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
Valid Washington State Food Handler's Card
Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
2 years administrative support experience including answering multi-line phone systems
Customer service and bookkeeping experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook
