The Digital Innovation Group (DIG) at Providence Health & Services is a small but mighty product development and incubation team that is building next-gen tools that give patients convenient and easy access to healthcare virtually anywhere, anytime.
We are looking for a passionate Senior Security Engineer to understand and apply commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures of system engineering, and to resolve a variety of basic to moderately complex issues. From meeting defined commitments and deadlines to effectively communicating status and risks to all stakeholders this Security Engineer is expected to work both collaboratively and independently while still asking for help confronted with bigger challenges. You'll have amazing opportunity to contribute to the functional and technical design/test design and test content and thus grow your skillset and career with an impactful organization.
What you’ll work on:
-Cloud Security Engineering
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience is required, Master's Degree is preferred
5 years of relevant industry experience supporting enterprise software delivery lifecycle
5 years’ experience as a security engineer working with firewalls, preventive controls, detective controls, corrective controls and information security controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity and/or availability of information and/or applications
3 years’ experience leading the design, deployment and administration of security appliances and technologies
2 years’ experience securing high availability multi-tier web applications using cloud products and vendors such as: Amazon Web Services or Azure
1 years’ experience automating using TeamCity, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Jenkins or other orchestration system
Strong in distributed reliability engineering with a solid understanding of application data flow and how it meets system infrastructure
Strong working knowledge of networking & load balancing protocols
Strong experience working with information security compliance programs such as SOC2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP and PCI
Strong experience with a variety of monitoring tools and concepts
