Providence Health & Services Recruiting Consultant Tier 3 PSJH in Alaska


Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Recruiting Consultant Tier 3 PSJH. This position will work 100% remote. Candidates may reside in Alaska, Washington state, Montana, Oregon, California or Texas.

We are seeking a Recruiting Consultant Tier 3 PSJH who will be responsible for a wide range of TA recruiting services as a Tier 3 issues resolution specialist within the Talent Acquisition. Serves as single point of contact to address Tier 3 escalated issues that cannot be addressed by vendor recruiters and/or TA managers. Responsible for liaison and consulting between vendor (IBM) and Field HR to independently resolve escalated complex and priority issues and develops recommendations for organization wide people/process/technology solutions. Accountable for timely and effective response, management, resolution, and appropriate escalation of complex or sensitive TA issues, in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Applies critical thinking and high touch customer service to resolve complex TA questions which include complex root cause analysis across a breadth of TA process areas, such as requisitions, postings, interviewing, selection, offers, processes, technology and other TA activities. Ensures that all customer service telephone calls, chats, tickets, cases (including cases submitted directly from caregivers) and transactions follow policy guidelines, and are compliant to applicable law. Has demonstrated proficiency in all areas of responsibilities, and is the recruiting SME for talent acquisition. Performs all duties in a manner which demonstrates exceptional customer service, fosters a team concept and reflects the organizational values. Requires an effective and professional working relationship with all levels of the organization, including caregivers and customers.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Act as a point of contact and advises and consults on escalated, complex or sensitive caregiver, candidate, hiring manager inquiries via telephone, chat, tickets, cases or email pertaining to significant issues, grievances, process improvements, and other high-touch needs.

  • Demonstrates service excellence and positive interpersonal relations in dealing with others, including caregivers, candidates, internal and external customers, to maximize productivity and service delivery results.

  • Responds timely to complex questions, including researching appropriate information, providing SME direction and recommendations.

  • Escalates issues, where required, through a formalized issue/inquiry escalation process within TA Services as well as to other business partners, where applicable.

  • Deliver high quality service to both internal and external customers.

  • Resolve caregiver and/or candidate questions and concerns through the various steps of the employee life cycle.

  • Analyze complex issues using a holistic approach and comprehensive problem solving resolution methodology.

  • Adheres to performance standards, metrics and SLA’s as outlined for the department and individual.

  • Provide and advise hiring managers with information about TA policies, procedures, and protocols.

  • May run custom reports and queries; analyze results and prepares for distribution and/or present information including change recommendations.

  • Demonstrates extensive knowledge and application of all compliance and legal requirements of the job based on the scope of practice of the position.

  • Uses critical thinking and strategic methodology to identify and develop innovative service delivery solutions. Provides TA Service Delivery user expertise on projects, may lead small projects with limited supervision.

  • Assures compliance with confidentiality policies, in accordance with State and Federal laws, maintains confidentiality of caregiver, patient, and business related information.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience.

  • 7 years experience in talent acquisition, human resources, benefits administration or payroll, or equivalent work experience including experience with TA, HR, and HRIS systems and tools including applicant tracking systems.

  • 5 years experience in a large complex talent acquisition organization in a recruiter or sourcer role.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • 3 years experience advising/consulting with TA and HR members, hiring managers on complex hiring initiatives, compensation/offers, and recruiting challenges.

  • 3 years recruiting in healthcare environment.
