Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Human Resources Generalist to our location in Anchorage, AK.
We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to perform a wide range of duties as assigned by the HR team. Act as primary point of contact for caregivers and core leaders for HR and employment related matters. Serve as a trusted advisor and advocate for caregivers and core leaders. Facilitate resolution for HR related concerns. Support HR team to provide solutions and outcomes to address caregiver and core leader needs. Support implementation of HR programs and processes.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Manage specific projects as assigned.
Provide support for inquiries of policy and/or contract interpretation.
Build complex reports upon request and provides insight on HR analytics and metrics.
Resolve problems relating to organizational policies and procedures.
Address ER issues such as harassment allegations, work complaints or other caregiver concerns under guidance of HR business partner.
Facilitate and provides training and assistance to caregivers on HR related matters.
Facilitate collection of data for grievance or legal information requests.
Represent ministry in regulatory audits and surveys.
Coordinate unemployment activities.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field.
2 years of related work experience.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Human Resources Global Prof within 1 year.
