Providence Health & Services Nursing Supervisor - Crisis Recovery Center in Anchorage, Alaska
Providence is calling a Nursing Supervisor (.9 FTE, Variable Shift) to Providence Crisis Recovery Center in Anchorage, Alaska.
The Crisis Recovery Center (CRC) Nursing Supervisor is a working team leader who coordinates team to deliver patient care in a compassionate and ethical manner according to recognized standards and care model.
In this position you will:
Assure RN staff is functioning according to scope of practice in clinical duties within the sub-acute psychiatric setting.
Participate in development of operating and capital budgets.
Assist with the development, modification and implementation of patient care standards, policies, procedures and protocols.
Provide nursing expertise in developing and implementing Quality Improvement plans.
Assume responsibility of team leadership, manage and coordinate team daily operations.
Promote improvements in clinical processes and services related to patient care and staff development.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited/approved school of Nursing
Alaska State Registered Nurse License
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree (BSN) in Nursing
3 years of clinical experience in area of clinical specialty
1 year of clinical supervisory, management or resource experience in the assigned technical or professional area
