Providence Health & Services Staffing Coordinator- Alaska Family Medical Residency in Anchorage, Alaska
Providence is calling a Staffing Coordinator AK Family Medical Residency (Ak Family Medicine Residency, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Physician Service Organization in Anchorage, Alaska. In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Develops and maintains the structure of the Family Medicine Center continuity clinic schedule for a minimum of 45 providers using spreadsheets, residency tracking software and clinic scheduling software. This includes the preparation of:
A minimum of 36 rotation templates plus 20 or more faculty rotation templates
Labor and Delivery Schedule
Faculty Vacation Schedule
Creates the Epic/Cadence Schedule builds and general maintenance for all residents, faculty, RNs, MAs, Social Workers, and PAs. In addition, builds miscellaneous schedules for various meetings, presentations and events.
Develops and maintains faculty and resident call schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for nights, weekends, and holidays while adhering to various accreditation standards. Coordinates Locums coverage for the residency when needed.
Coordinates schedules with as many as 50 outside doctor’s offices, hospitals and clinics on resident behalf for various rotations each block.
Coordinates and schedules Bi-Annual Resident evaluations in conjunction with the CCC and resident advisor.
Conducts monthly session counts for the clinic director patient visit census.
Updates and maintains the AKFMR homepage.
Processes and approves faculty and resident leave requests, including PTO, sick, CME and RBS. Update resident leave balances and verifies graduation dates for extending residents. Initiates and/or assists with projects that support the operations of assigned area.
Provides administrative support to supervisor, including meeting scheduling, Kronos back-up, and assists other staff when requested. Serves as back-up for Behavioral Health and Med Student scheduling as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required qualifications for this position include:
- 4 years Administrative or Secretarial
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Coursework/Training in Secretarial Sciences and Personal Computers
1 year experience in a Medical setting with Medical Terminology
