Providence Manager Pharmacy Systems and Business Analytics in Beaverton, Oregon
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Manager Pharmacy Systems and Business Analytics to our location in Beaverton, OR.
We are seeking a Manager Pharmacy Systems and Business Analytics who will oversee and manage the accurate processing of prescription drug claims at participating pharmacies utilizing eligibility, benefits and drug utilization management edits in a point-of-service environment. Additionally, leads business process reengineering across pharmacy division and pharmacy system implementations, coordinating with internal pharmacy division stakeholders as well as translating and coordinating Pharmacy Senior Leadership vision into system, responsible for acceptance and prioritization of work for the Pharmacy Agile Team. Works with pharmacy business stakeholders as well as building and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships across Providence Health Plan.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Manage staff who are coordinating system configurations and maintenance of pharmacy systems across pharmacy division.
Possess subject matter expertise and sufficient market knowledge to understand customer and stakeholder wants and needs.
Oversee pharmacy business process engineering as well as pharmacy system standardization, automation, and implementations, maintenance, and optimizations.
Engage teams, customers, and stakeholders to collaborate in pharmacy system release planning and strategy.
Evaluate the return of paid pharmacy claim information to PHP. Remediates discrepancies for all lines of business and assures that PDE records and adjustments are managed according to CMS requirements.
Manage system impact of new pharmacy products, network contract administration, implementation of state and federal mandates, software upgrades, operational workflow discussions, and financial structural decisions.
Work with pharmacy business stakeholders as well as builds effective stakeholder relationships across Providence Health Plan, to assure achievement of translation of pharmacy strategy to pharmacy systems and business analytics.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Master's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
Project management, Six Sigma, Change Acceleration Process (CAP), LEAN, and Work Out training. (2 of 4 required)
Medication and drug product category training and medical terminology.
4 years experience in a management, supervisory, or team leader position within healthcare or managed care field.
6 years managed care pharmacy and/or information services experience.
5 years experience responsible for technical requirements for pharmacy or healthcare data management.
5 years experience leading people through projects and implementations.
Agile team member or coaching experience.
3 years experience as a business process engineer and in using Lean tools, leading/participating in Kaizens.
Experience leading teams responsible for complex data or system analyses, presenting findings and recommendations to a broader audience, including senior leaders.
Project management, Six Sigma, Change Acceleration Process (CAP), LEAN, and Work Out experience. (2 of 4 required)
Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and state licensure if required by law.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Experience in PHP business processes and information services.
Experience working with Tableau.
