Providence Health & Services Principal Product Manager, End to End Experiences in Beaverton, Oregon
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Principal Product Manager, End to End Experiences to our location in Renton, WA; Portland OR; Redmond, WA, Irvine, CA or Beaverton, OR.
We are seeking a Principal Product Manager / End to End Experiences who will have a scope across one or more business domains that fall within PSJH including Workforce Planning, Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Performance & Development, Learning, Time & Attendance Compensation and Shared Services. The scope is both broad, across a business unit and deep, in terms of technical, process and continuous improvement required to run and maintain an enterprise wide IS service. This role is both enterprise in nature and startup in mindset because we are creating and building this IS division from the ground floor. This role will work in a fast paced environment, have constant demands for better services, and will require the ability to create strong vision, strategy, measuring value through strong problem resolution, decision making, communication and partnering skills. This role requires someone to be both a leader and supporter as we bring in a cutting edge mindset and skillset to the organization. It requires a leader to deal with high degrees of ambiguity to drive clear vision, strategy and execution success, while bringing the HR business, Technical Program Managers and Software engineers along in the journey.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Demonstrated experience in engaging with business stakeholders and system users to understand and document pain points and opportunities for future solutions through the use of personas to articulate paint points. Experience in developing frameworks to prioritize pain points and opportunities
Demonstrates a deep understanding of what is critical to the business in making appropriate decisions that directly affect portfolios, solutions, or services. Demonstrated experience in developing deep customer relationships and strategic thinking with Business and IS senior leaders (rather than short term, point solutions) through development of 3 to 5 year roadmaps aligned to company and organizations visions and priorities.
Extensive ability to analyze problems in the context of the product or service and business strategy to make appropriate decisions that directly affect his or her key area of focus (for example, his or her feature area or properties, proposed technology solution)
Expertise leading and delivering programs comprised of several small to medium size projects, or a large complex project. Leads with collaboration, manages key stakeholders, removes roadblocks, and drives overall quality project delivery. Anticipates risks and issues and takes preventative actions.
Demonstrated and significant experience in execution of multi multi-year vision, strategy across multiple organizations. This includes leading and delivering large and complex programs across multiple teams, creates environment for successful collaboration, effective management of executive stakeholders, drives resolution of complex issues and roadblocks, inspires and leads quality project delivery.
Exhibits the ability to champions project to stakeholders and articulates the WHY and value based on the audience leveraging mutually defined criteria for success. Able to understand technical/industry knowledge and depth with the ability to dive deep and quickly understand architecture and technical details. Strong communication skills
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in user centered design, Healthcare, IS, Data Science, Statistics or Engineering discipline or equivalent educ/experience
8 years product or program management experience, preferable with direct product ownership
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master's Degree in any of the above or Business Administration
2 years experience in healthcare environment
5 years experience in Visual Studio, ADO or other development tools
