Providence Health & Services Clinical Data Trauma Analyst - Trauma Injury Prevention in Everett, Washington
Providence is calling a Clinical Data Analyst (0.5 FTE, Day Shift) to work in Trauma Injury Prevention at Providence Health & Services in Everett, WA
*THIS IS A REMOTE OPPORTUNITY with some travel to office required.*
Provides clinical information management, data collection, analysis and reporting of metrics related to the care of the trauma patient, including financial, clinical and outcome data working closely with the Trauma Program Manager.
In this position you will:
Serve as primary resource and educator for clinical data collection and analysis for clinical and administrative staff.
Provides education and support to Program Manager & Director related to the use of the Statewide Trauma Registry. Provides data analysis support to clinical and administrative staff.
Understands and uses the injury severity coding tools in use by the State to evaluate the adequacy of clinical documentation and coding as it relates to the care of trauma patients.
Supervises the installation, upgrades and tests of clinical information programs and monitors performance of programs after installation.
Collaborate with IT to accomplish software upgrades and testing.
Creates and maintains clinical reports repository.
Creates and provides access to reports related to the care of trauma patients.
Runs reports and displays data in a way that assists the Trauma Program leadership to evaluate quality, timeliness and communication regarding the care of the trauma patient.
Supports Trauma Committee / Trauma Quality Review Committee.
Prepares and presents data as requested by Trauma Program Manager.
Prepares and communicates data in a meaningful way to the multi-disciplinary trauma committees.
Required qualification for this position include:
- American Trauma Society Registrar Certification within 6 months of hire
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent educ/experience
Experience with clinical database and patient outcome measurements
