Providence is calling a Mammography Technologist Specialized Procedures (0.6 FTE, Day Shift) to the Breast Center Department Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA.

Perform specialized advanced level technical invasive and non-invasive mammography procedures that include the application of ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, in accordance with regulatory agency requirements. Also perform mammography screening procedures
In this position you will:
Demonstrate application of knowledge, skills, and behaviors in the physical, motor/sensory, cognitive, psychosocial, patient and family education areas based on PEMC age specific care competency assessment tool
Patient are positioned correctly for each exam & views are appropriately selected based on selected based on clinical history, patient size and physical condition
Seek input and take direction from physicians during the performance exams such as ultrasound, TACT or Diagnostic Mammography
Ask appropriate questions and provide complete patient history as required
Required qualifications for this position include:
Associate degree or two year technical program, an approved program in Radiologic Technology or
Current certification with the State of Washington as a Certified Radiologic Technologist
Advanced training in breast ultrasound
Board registered with current advanced level registration in Mammography as accepted by American Registry for Radiologic Technologists within one year of hire
Experience in Screening Mammography
