Providence Rehabilitation Therapy Aide - Physical Therapy *1.0 FTE, Days* in Everett, Washington
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Rehabilitation Therapy Aide (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to work in Physical Therapy Department at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA.
Performs various supportive functions for the department including general office duties, patient transportation, monitoring of supplies and forms and department cleaning; may assist in patent care under the direct supervision of licensed therapists.
In this position you will:
Identifies issues relating to Environment of Care Standards and reports issues not in compliance; may take action within scope of job description to remedy.
Cleans equipment routinely and assures maintenance per Bio-Med Tags.
Inventories supplies routinely.
Orders supplies as required to ensure consistent cost effective inventory.
Stocks supplies when they are delivered to work site.
Answers telephones per department and Amazing Service Standards.
May schedule patients per department procedures.
May assist in Star functions, including creating orders and/or assigning work lists.
Files records and other documents per department procedure.
Provides assistance to Rehabilitation Services staff to ensure smooth operation of the service and optimal patient care.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent education/experience.
Sufficient education to read & understand instructions.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Prior experience in a therapy department.
