Providence is calling a Weekend Triage Registered Nurse (RN) (Hospice, Day Shift, 0.6 FTE) to Providence SoundHomeCare and Hospice in Everret, Washington. In this position you will:
Perform triage activities such as receiving incoming phone calls from home health patient physician offices, patients and families, assessing patient needs, providing immediate problem-solving on the phone.
Contact covering MD’s to obtain verbal orders and write orders needed for treatment, PT/INR labs, wound care, eliminate or add-on of services, and order extensions.
Communicate PT/INR lab results to physicians and clinics.
Arrange for nursing visit if needed.
Provide follow-up communication to other Home Health staff regarding patient/family needs.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) License
Current provider BLS (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification
Valid Washington State Driver’s license and have access to daily use of an insured, reliable vehicle
Current Washington State Food Handler's Permit
1 year of nursing experience
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Hospice, Home Health or Long Term Care experience
