Providence is calling a Surgical Technologist (0.9 FTE, DAY SHIFT) to the Surgery Services Department at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA.
*Providence Medical Center is proud to offer new caregivers to PRMCE a sign on bonus for joining our team. This position will offer up to a $10,000 bonus that will be paid to newly hired caregivers to PRMCE with a minimum of 1 year of experience. This will be paid in two payments.*

We are seeking a Surgical Technologist to provide patient care within scope of practice including scrub duties for surgical procedures. Participate in standby and call schedules.
In this position you will:
Demonstrates application of knowledge, skills, and behaviors in the physical, motor/sensory, cognitive, psychosocial, patient and family education areas based on PEMC age specific care competency assessment tool.
Collects and prepares equipment, instruments and supplies necessary for surgical procedures.
Sets up sterile field with instruments, sutures, blades, electrosurgical equipment, suction, prosthesis and solutions needed for procedures according to established procedures.
All pertinent information is communicated to the RN specialist
Participates in all staff meetings and mandatory in services and training programs to ensure continued understanding of all departmental policies, procedures and performance improvement processes.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High school diploma or equivalent educ/experience
Graduate of an accredited Surgical technologist training program – Surgical Technology
Surgical Technologist State Registration
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Preferred qualification for this position include:
- Prior experience as a surgical technologist in an acute care facility
