Providence Project Manager, Physician Enterprise in Irvine, California
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Project Manager, Physician Enterprise to our location in Irvine, CA.
We are seeking a Project Manager, Physician Enterprise to be accountable for managing a variety of projects related to the PSJH Mission PE (i.e. mission fidelity assessment for physician offices/regions, values in action for PE, OWN IT, physician satisfaction, operational excellence, etc…) to improve operational efficiency and enhance services. These projects will vary in scope, size and complexity based on business need. This is an intermediate level position and will be responsible for partnering with various staff and core leaders in the Project Management and Physician Enterprise group to create work plans that achieve the organization’s goals, objectives and desired outcomes. In addition, this position will require excellent stakeholder management with demonstrated and effective collaboration with local, regional and system operations, finance, human resources, service line, strategic planning and physician group practice leaders and/or staff. The Project Manager may lead and/or support projects/initiatives as assigned.
This individual must perform all duties in a manner that promotes PSJH mission, values, and philosophy. In all aspects, he/she serves as a role model for the values and mission of the organization.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Manage various small to large projects of moderate risk related to Physician enterprise.
Manage projects that leverage teams and system resources to help achieve department objectives.
Prepare and manages detailed project plans.
Direct team in identifying and organizing project team members.
Act as a department liaison for project related activities.
Monitor results/satisfaction to ensure that the project meets the expectations and deadlines.
Work closely with other stakeholders/participants/partners to ensure all needs/issues are addressed and communicated.
Deliver business value through effective project management of one or more small to medium project(s).
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in support of project analysis and daily operations.
Must be able to travel between PSJH-PE facilities as necessary.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare or equivalent education/experience.
2 years experience in progressively responsible project management roles with demonstrated leadership experience and strong project/change management skills (preferably within healthcare).
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare-related.
Meeting facilitation or project management.
Courses and/or experience in project management of increasingly scope/size and complexity of projects.
