Providence Health & Services Speech Language Pathologist - Home Health in Lacey, Washington

Providence is calling a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) (Home Health, Day Shift, Per Diem) to Providence SoundHomeCare in Lacey, Washington to provide services in Pierce, Thurston, Lewis, and Mason counties. In this position you will:

  • Determines priorities of client care based on client's needs and available resources: Manages time effectively. Prioritizes client's needs effectively.

  • Cooperatively assists clients & significant others in developing a realistic plan of care.

  • Develops a patient plan of care & supervises client's care on an individual basis as applies to Assistants/Aides regarding rehab.

  • Provides treatment interventions safely and competently.

  • Meets time management productivity standards.

  • Demonstrates competency in the knowledge & appropriate application of technical SLP skills.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Master's Degree in Speech/language pathology

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence issued by the American Speech and Hearing Association or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year.

  • Current Washington State Speech Language Pathologist License.

  • Valid Washington State driver’s license.

  • Insured and reliable transportation.

  • Healthcare Provider BLS/CPR certification required.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Long Term Care (LTC), home health, or other types of experience with geriatric care
