Providence Associate Biomedical Technician in Missoula, Montana


Associate Biomedical Technician - St Patrick Hospital-Broadway Bldg-Missoula, MT

The Associate Biomedical Technician is responsible for installation, electrical safety inspections, periodic maintenance, performance testing and major and minor repairs of medical equipment in assigned areas of the hospital, as well as external/retail clients. The Associate Biomedical Technician operates sophisticated test equipment and instrumentation for inspections, performance tests, and periodic maintenance/repairs of medical equipment. The testing data acquired from said testing is analyzed and may be prepared reports.

The job duties listed are essential functions of the position. However, other duties may be assigned, and may also be considered essential functions of the position. The caregiver must be sufficiently fluent in the English language to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position. The degree of fluency required will vary depending upon the nature of the position. Shift Details: Full time, Day shift, No Daily Overtime 40 Hour Week

Required Qualifications:

  • Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Biomedical Technology or Electronics Technology, military or technical school certificate.

  • 1 year of experience in repair of biomedical equipment.
