Providence Biomedical Equipment Technician I in Missoula, Montana
Providence is calling a Biomedical Equipment Technician I (Biomedical Engineering, Days, 1.0 FTE) to Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana. In this position you will:
Participate in the department’s after hours rotating call schedule.
Perform major/minor repairs of medical equipment using manufacturer’s recommendations, test procedures, diagnostics and accepted engineering standards and comprehends medical electronic equipment and systems to a high degree.
Perform performance inspections and safety and repair maintenance on basic/complex medical equipment in accordance manufacturer’s and departmental standards and procedures.
Analyze data from inspections, performance tests, periodic maintenance and major/minor repairs of complex medical equipment for the preparation of appropriate documentation.
Required qualifications for this position include:
- Current Department of Motor Vehicle record, valid MT Driver's License and current insurance
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Associate's Degree in Biomedical Technology or Electronics Technology, military or technical school certificate.
One (1) year experience in repair of biomedical equipment.
