Providence Health & Services Electrocardiograph Technician in Missoula, Montana
Providence is calling a Electrocardiograph Technician (Echo Dept and will Float to Cardiac Rehab, Day Shift, 0.0 FTE) to St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
This is a supplemental role that will fill in for sick and vacation days. Shifts could start at 7:30, 8:00 or 8:30 depending on the need of the department. There is also potential call 5 to 7 weekdays and 7 am to 7 pm Saturday and Sunday.
In this position you will:
Use medical equipment, including treadmills and other testing devices.
Individualize patient care applying age related concepts.
Communicate and collaborate with patients and families.
Participate in diagnostic or other patient-oriented procedures.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or equivalent
Technical experience in a hospital setting
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Technical school education
Current Basic Life Saving (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Telemetry and knowledge of heart rhythms
