Providence Health & Services Manager of Finance PSJH in Montana
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Manager of Finance PSJH. This position works 100% remotely. Candidates must reside in Alaska, Washington, Montana, Oregon or California.

We are seeking a Manager of Finance PSJH who will support local ministry/entity leadership teams and provide leadership to the system productivity and benchmarking team. Responsible for day-to-day operations and people management within the productivity and benchmarking team.
The Manager Finance PSJH will produce financial analysis to relevant parties for strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting. The role will lead their team to develop analytical reports that improve the insight and understanding of finance labor management. Will serve as a resource to clinical service line leaders and assist in standardization of labor management practices. Other responsibilities may include support for month-end review and other finance--related assistance as required. Manages appropriate finance staff.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Carry out the Mission, Vision, and Values of Providence St. Joseph Health.
Directly manage and lead staff to achieve department and organization objectives.
Responsible for hiring, training, and developing staff.
Be a subject matter expert for productivity and benchmarking concepts and systems
Work through influence with wide range of stakeholders to accomplish objectives within a matrixed organization.
Collaborate with Healthcare Intelligence, Finance, and Clinical resource teams to ensure accurate data is acquired and presented timely.
Works with Healthcare Intelligence and other relevant internal teams to solve issues or problems with existing data sources flowing into Premier.
Develop new, innovative reporting and analytics solutions to increase visibility into labor management trends.
Provide support to local finance leadership that fosters understanding of labor management policies, processes, and procedures.
Create and manipulate queries and reports from an array of data sources (e.g., patient charges, general ledger, financial reporting).
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance related field or equivalent education/experience.
6 years of experience in a Finance related supervisory role.
4 years of leadership experience.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Certified Public Accountant, HFMA or FACHE certifications
