Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Senior Software Engineer AdTech/MarTech to one of our remote locations in WA, OR, AK, MT, CA, NM, or TX.
The Digital Innovation Group (DIG) at Providence St. Joseph Health is a small but mighty product development and incubation team that is building next-gen tools that give patients convenient and easy access to healthcare virtually anywhere, anytime.
DIG is both a healthcare startup and a technology/product incubator. Our various teams gather market data on effective solutions in the healthcare space and then proceed to build out a product line with the latest and greatest technology available. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer AdTech/MarTech who will use consumer and marketing insights along with voice of the customer to build frictionless digital experiences for our customers. As an SDE, you will be a part of an early-stage team that leverage AWS serverless capabilities to build AdTech data science models and applications like Attribution models, demand forecasting, User persona and SEM optimization etc.
You will be working on architecting, building, and launching scalable and reliable data pipelines and backend applications. You will also be working with data scientists in operationalizing data science models.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Lead, design, build, and support AdTech data pipelines and digital experience applications related to SEM optimization, demand forecasting, user persona, attribution models and content recommendation etc.
Partner with Infrastructure team in designing and supporting AWS services. The AWS services currently used by team are Glue, Athena, QuickSight etc.
Work with business partners in building the reports using visualization tools like QuickSight or Tableau
Collaborate with data scientists in operationalizing data science models
Opportunity to explore and leverage technologies like NoSQL databases, Streaming services that may fit team’s growing need
Collaborate with other engineering and business teams in brainstorming sessions, requirement gathering and storytelling
Ensure code is covered by unit and integration tests with quality assurance and data validation processes well defined
Demonstrate track record of being a change agent, leaving every team and process better than you found it
Build applications with a proactive operations mindset to simplify alerting and debugging application issues. Participate in an on-call support rotation.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in STEM.
6 years Analytical application development using Python and SQL.
4 years Building data pipelines and applications using AWS cloud platform; preferably using AWS Glue, Athena, Aurora or Redshift, QuickSight etc.
3 years Experience in building marketing automation or digital marketing applications related to SEM optimization, Attribution models, Personalization etc.
2 years Experience in building orchestration layer to consume data using batch API or real-time streaming from marketing SaaS platforms like GoogleAds, BingAds, BigQuery (Google Analytics) etc.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Masters Degree in Computer Science or in STEM.
2 years Building applications using Apache Spark (PySpark).
