Providence Supply Chain Analyst - Pharmacy *Remote* in New Mexico

Provide analytical support to pharmacy business groups across the organization by providing consistent and meaningful financial and supply information, reporting, and analysis related to pharmaceuticals which includes monthly savings reporting to REH and Pharmacy Groups. Collect and manage large sets of complex data, and facilitates business discussions to ensure analytic needs are met. Collect and analyze complex pharmaceutical supply chain data sets to identify optimal decision outcomes in the Rx supply chain management contract negotiation process, as well as optimization of order points and quantities. Develop value added reporting utilizing Excel, Access, SQL, Hyperion and other reporting tools, automating where appropriate. Provide Ad Hoc drug spend reports to support Pharmacy Directors. Assist Pharmacy leadership to understand utilization patterns and make recommendations for continuous improvements in the management of pharmaceutical supply chain. Interact with third party vendors to obtain additional pharmacy data and standardize dashboards. Provide monthly report to Pharmacy groups about financial and supply information related to pharmacy. Gather data using SQL and use data to identify opportunity and savings. Perform all duties in a manner that promotes the Providence mission, values, and philosophy. In all aspects, he/she serves as a role model for the values and mission of the organization. Permitted to telecommute full-time (reporting to our Renton, WA office) from a location within normal commuting distance to a Providence facility (AK, WA, OR, CA, MT, NM or TX.)

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management, Business Administration, Applied Mathematics, Applied Analytics, Finance, or a related discipline Or

  • 2 years Analytics and reporting including 1 year of advanced data collection and analysis

  • Experience in a role involving supply chain or pharmacy issues.

  • Experience in data modeling, manipulation, management, and mining.

  • Experience using EPIC and Meditech Data Knowledge.

  • Experience with value-added reporting utilizing Excel, Access, SQL, Hyperion, or other reporting tools.

  • Experience may be gained concurrently.
