Providence is calling an Cardiovascular Technologist (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to work in Cardiovascular Lab at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA.

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to assist the physician in the invasive testing and/or treatment of patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
In this position you will:
Participates in all procedures performed in the Cath Lab
Demonstrates knowledge in reading electrocardiograms. Demonstrates knowledge in heart pressures and wave forms. Demonstrates knowledge of advanced cardiac life support skills
Demonstrates a functional understanding of diagnostic and interventional radiology imaging equipment
Demonstrates the set up and operation of monitoring equipment and vital sign recording. Provides for documentation in the procedure flow sheet as necessary
Scrubs and assists the physician as needed during cardiac and peripheral catheterization procedures. Anticipates the needs of the physician when scrubbed and has an understanding of the types of procedures and steps necessary to perform the procedure
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of a two-year invasive cardiology program
At the time of hire, is required to be certified by the Washington State Department of Health as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification
Basic Cardiac Life Support – CPR
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
Six (6) months Cath lab experience
