Providence is calling a Pharmacy Medication Regulatory Specialist (1.0 FTE, Days) to at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA.
The Pharmacy Medication Regulatory Specialist assists the Senior Manager Pharmacy, Quality and Med Safety by maintaining comprehensive medication accountability, surveillance and reporting programs for all applicable state and federal agencies. Under the direction of the Senior Manager Pharmacy, Quality and Med Safety the Pharmacy Medication Regulatory Specialist will audit medication accountability and control processes and conduct ongoing internal medication quality audits and reviews, including controlled substance reconciliation, to monitor and measure adherence with the various medication use processes requirements, including risk, regulatory, safety, accountability and compliance. The Pharmacy Medication Regulatory Specialist collects and assists with trend analysis and assessments of available medication information and then reports findings to the pharmacy leadership team in the form of summary reports and/or dashboards.

Required qualifications for this position include:
H.S. Diploma or GED
4 years recent hospital pharmacy experience
Current Washington State Pharmacy Technician certification upon hire
Preferred qualification for this position include:
Broad hospital work experience base
