We are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our interdisciplinary rehab team in the Acute Hospital setting.
In this position you will:
Provide Physical Therapy treatments with age-appropriate considerations in the acute hospital setting: Pediatric; Adolescent; Adult; Older Adult
Communicate with therapists, patients/families/caregivers, nursing personnel, physicians, and case managers/social workers regarding patient response to treatment.
Keep physical therapists informed of patient response to treatment, identifying needs for adjustment of the plan of care, updating goals, and need for reassessment and/or discharge.
Document treatment sessions and progress toward goals clearly and concisely.
Assist with other departmental projects and duties.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an APTA approved Physical Therapy Assistant Program, usually an associate’s of science degree
WA State DOH Physical Therapist Assistant License
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Associate's Degree
