Providence Health & Services Physical Therapist - Rehabilitation in Olympia, Washington
Providence is calling a Physical Therapist (1.0 FTE/40 hours per week, Day Shift) to work in a Float Position between the Acute Hospital Settings of Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA and Providence Centralia Hospital in Centralia, WA.

This float position offers the unique opportunity to work in two different acute hospital settings, both with dynamic multidisciplinary teams. Evaluate and treat patients in their acute phase of recovery, focus treatment on function and patient needs, and help progress them toward their discharge plan.
In this position you will:
Perform initial evaluations and treatments for pediatric to geriatric patients in the acute hospital setting.
Provide therapy treatments to restore function and prevent disability, working toward safe discharge from the hospital.
Provide Patient, Family/Caregiver and Staff education.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy or D.P.T. in Physical Therapy
WA State PT Licensure or Physical Therapy Compact Privilege in the State of WA
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Three (3) months experience in either pediatrics, acute, orthopedics, neuro or lymphedema
