Providence Health & Services Radiologic Technologist II in Olympia, Washington


Providence is calling a Radiologic Technologist II (Per Diem, Variable) to Providence St Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA.

The Radiologic Technologist II is responsible for providing quality care to patients and performing Radiology exams proficiently to provide Radiologists with accurate information to reach an interpretation.

In this position you will:

  • Bring areas of improvement to the attention of Management.

  • Set up and conduct radiological procedures

  • Perform quality control and reporting tasks.

  • Be responsible for radiological procedures and radiographic equipment operations as outlined.

  • Participate in the growth and development of the DI department and contribute ideas.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Equivalent of two years community college/vocational training in an accredited radiological technologist training program.

  • Must have the equivalent of two years clinical experience in Radiologic Technology. Previous hospital experience preferred.

  • Minimum 6 months CT scanning experience.

  • Registration by the ARRT (American Association of Radiological Technologists.) in radiology and computed tomography

  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Washington State Dept. of Health Radiologic Technologist License.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
