Providence Health & Services Sr. Manager Cardiology Clinic in Olympia, Washington
Providence is calling a Senior Manager Clinic Support Services PMG (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to work in Cardiology Associates at Providence Medical Group Southwest Washington in Olympia, WA.
The Sr. Manager provides ongoing leadership for the development and implementation of management and patient care systems to assure cost-effective and quality operations of the clinic. Responsible for financial, quality, service, and engagement management processes with accountability for overall performance to established targets. Ensures strategic integration of care and clinical practices to provide an optimal patient experience. Leads staff to ensure that patient care services are provided in a timely manner which are sensitive to the patient's physical, psychological, and spiritual needs.Ensures compliance with established clinical policies and procedures. Participates in PMG-wide special projects, committees or task forces as requested. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects the Sisters of Providence mission, philosophy and values.
In this position you will:
Support and lead teams of managers in assigned departments.
Mentor department managers/supervisors and staff on day-to-day operations.
Lead efforts within assigned departments to promote and implement improvement opportunities
Ensure and promote growth through implementation of strategic improvement initiatives. Achieves established goals and objectives
Ensure qualified support staff resources are available to clinics and projects as needed to ensure PMG meets its objectives.
Keep executives informed of department operations and special projects
Actively participate in PMG senior leadership to promote strategic planning and fiscal responsibility.
Required qualifications for this position includes:
Bachelor's Degree Health Care, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field Or equivalent educ/experience
5 years in a health care business related field
<26nbsp;years recent management or leadership experience
Preferred qualifications for this position includes:
Experience in Cardiology clinic operations preferred
Experience developing key relationships within an integrated delivery system such as hospital, health plan and support departments.
MHA or MBA preferred
