Providence Health & Services Staffing Coordinator - Long Term Care in Olympia, Washington
Providence is calling a Staffing Coordinator (0.6 FTE, Day Shift) to work in the Long Term Care at Providence Mother Joseph Care Center in Olympia, WA.
The Staffing Coordinator will provide customer service to Nurse Managers by helping to ensure optimum staffing within budgeted levels. Maintains quality Float Pool Staff for utilization in any nursing unit. Provides periodic analytic reports to Administration to maintain cost effectiveness and control.
In this position you will:
Create schedules for nursing center staff fulfilling requirement of guaranteed hours.
Enter completed schedules into database, including all nursing unit positions.
Maintain daily staffing sheets for nursing units and creates monthly schedules.
Educate and inform staff in principles of basic staffing techniques.
Assist Administration and Nurse Managers in developing staffing reports as requested.
Required qualifications for this position include:
- Ability to communicate in English effectively both verbally and in writing.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Two (2) years experience in health facilities staffing or equivalent.
Proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook.
