Providence Accounts Receivable Trainer, Home and Community Care *Remote* in Oregon

Providence St. Joseph Health is calling an Accounts Receivable Trainer to work remotely within our footprint states: AK, CA, MT, OR, TX and/or WA.

This position is accountable for the creation and organization of new employee (and ongoing) training which also includes productivity and quality audits for the Post Acute Billing and Collections Revenue Cycle Teams.

Collaborate with the manager to develop the development of training curriculum, workflow, and consistent standards. This incumbent will also assist with the creation of quality monitoring tools.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Updates own skills and knowledge of system to be an effective trainer.

  • Recognize and adapt training methods to changing business needs of the staff as well as the changing business needs in health care.

  • Support the departments strategic goals through the delivery of appropriate training events and courses offered.

  • Maintain knowledge and ability to perform all functions pertaining to the respective team.

  • Maintain ongoing modification and delivery of established courses.

  • Work independently while maintaining extremely good communication with Supervisors/Managers regarding training, workflow, processes and staff issues.

  • Maintain technical knowledge of software applications and a detailed understanding of the requirements of Medicare and Medicaid Compliance, and other major commercial plans, in a rapidly changing environment.

  • Identifies areas for operational efficiencies and areas of risk.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent educ/experience.

  • 3 years of Health care account management experience, preferable in a hospital setting, health insurance claims processing or medical office.
