The Senior Financial Analyst is a member of the service area team and sits on local ministry teams to provide analytical support regarding the team's financial performance. Analyzes, understands and reports on key financial and business trends for the organization. Collects, researches and organizes financial and operational data to create and report monthly financials, variances and trending analyses. This is a senior-level position that applies advanced knowledge and skills; often performs difficult and complex tasks and provides guidance, assistance and training to more junior-level analysts. Typically assigned to support larger and/or more complex service area teams.

Providence Health Plan is calling a Senior Financial Analyst who will:

  • Serve as a member of the service area team and sit on local ministry teams to provide analytical support regarding the team's financial performance

  • Analyze, understand and report on key financial and business trends for the organization

  • Collect, research and organize financial and operational data to create and report monthly financials, variances and trending analyses

  • Apply advanced knowledge and skills

  • Often perform difficult and complex tasks

  • Provide guidance, assistance and training to more junior-level analysts

  • Support larger and/or more complex service area teams

We welcome 100% remote work for residents who live in the States of Oregon, Washington & California.

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience

  • 5+ years' analytical and business experience(+4 years of additional directly related experience may substitute for the required degree)

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration

  • 2+ years healthcare related experience
