Providence Health & Services Administrative Assistant Assisted Living in Polson, Montana
Providence is calling a Administrative Assistant Assisted Living (Residential Care, Day Shift, 0.0 FTE) to Providence St. Joseph Medical Care in Polson , Montana. In this position you will:
Assist with marketing and tours of the facility.
Educate residents/representatives and provides information regarding individual resident bills for St. Joseph Retirement Community.
Accumulate, maintain and provide statistical data.
Assist Director with budget preparation.
Assist in studies and projects as assigned.
Collect and receive payments on accounts and issues receipts as needed.
Collect invoices, codes, gets Director signature and sends to hospital in a timely manner.
Review Time Sheets, comparing with schedule shifts. Check for accuracy and thoroughness.
Compile various resident’s billing charges and prepares statements for distribution/mailing. Posts all charges into St Joseph Retirement Community accounts receivable system.
Complete necessary forms, reports and submits to Director.
Complete weekly and monthly reports. Meets deadlines for required reports.
Greet residents and visitors coming into facility and screens calls for Director.
Keep petty cash, records use and replenishes as needed.
Maintain adequate inventory of supplies. Checks weekly for general supply needs. Orders necessary supplies and distributes supplies to appropriate storage areas.
Maintain calendar, make appointments and coordinate materials for meetings.
Maintain orderly and accessible files. Assist with updating files yearly and preparing old files for storage.
Open, sort and routes mail.
Prepare Medicaid and insurance billing in a timely manner.
Provide accurate and efficient typing support, compose correspondence, take and transcribe minutes of various meetings.
Track delinquent accounts and reports to Director in a timely manner.
Provide clear, concise, pertinent resident reports/information.
Required qualifications for this position include:
H.S. Diploma or GED
Valid Drivers License. proof of insurance
3 years administrative assistant or secretary
