Providence Health & Services Contract Analyst in Portland, Oregon
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling Contract Analyst to our location in Redmond, WA: Portland, OR; Irvine, CA or Beaverton, OR. *Other Providence locations considered
We are seeking a Contract Analyst to support our clinical technology services teams in service maintenance contract compilation, review, cost, and value analysis. Work assignments of moderate to high complexity to complete assessment, develop workflows, and meet project and savings initiative goals. Responsible for communication to and work activities with multiple stakeholders, analyze user requirements, act as a source for direction, and respond to support inquiries. Responsible for project communication and updates.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Mentor lower-level professionals in use of tools, techniques, and analysis skills.
Demonstrated ability to apply standards, concepts and theories related to technical discipline and provide solutions to moderately complex problems.
Build and sustain effective working relationships with a wide range of internal and external contacts, vendors, and stakeholders on behalf of Providence St. Joseph Health.
Maintain and manage vendor relationships on a tactical level.
Ability to manage up to 15-20 vendors at one time.
Provide guidance and mentoring to internal and external customers to maximize their use of Information Services tools and systems, educate clients, and create related documentation as necessary.
Facilitate and participate in committees with cross-functional teams within Information Services and throughout the health system across all ministries.
Ability to facilitate team meetings.
Utilize systems to track identification, location, maintenance, and associated contracts.
Work with vendors to coordinate quotes, pay invoices, and associated services to ensure compliance within contract terms and conditions while ensuring maximum value from our vendors.
Ensure the proper tracking of expenses to ensure invoices are coded correctly through Accounts Payable and Accounting so costs are captured, tracked, and reported accurately within service level agreements.

Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent educ/experience
3 years Functional experience.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
3 years Experience in a healthcare setting.
3 years Experience in contract management and value analysis in service-related capacity.
3 years Experience with Accounting/Purchasing.
