Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Director EIS Cyber Comms, Awareness and Training PSJH to our locations in CA, WA, or OR.

We are seeking a Director EIS Cyber Comms, Awareness and Training who will be responsible for leading enterprise-wide Cybersecurity Trainings, Awareness campaigns and Communication outreach. The Comms, Awareness and Training Director will be responsible for building the enterprise-wide cybersecurity awareness and training program, establishing standardized cybersecurity training practices, and conduct enterprise-wide cybersecurity communications. Works collaboratively with IS and business leadership to be the primary point of contact between EIS teams for enterprise-wide cyber communications. The EIS Comms, Awareness and Training Director will be accountable for developing, maintaining and facilitating enterprise-wide cybersecurity awareness and training exercises, including enterprise-wide cybersecurity communications.

Ensures projects related to the program are planned and executed in a manner that supports the PSJH Mission, and supports integration and collaboration across the health system while meeting the organizational objectives.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Responsible for conducting enterprise-wide periodic cybersecurity awareness campaigns, and maintains metrics on organization’s compliance with phishing requirements. Maintains the EIS internal and external web presence. Produces regular enterprise-wide EIS all-hands meeting, including gathering content for the updates, setting up the events and managing Q&A and ongoing conversations.

Strategic Functions:

  • Develop projects within a Cyber Awareness, Training and Comms program in alignment with the organization’s strategic plans and objectives

  • Builds support to influence decisions in order to ensure work toward common objectives.

  • Proactively informs and influences others in order to maintain the balance required between business needs; project partner strategy and standards; and financial requirements and budgets.

  • Facilitates strategic planning with internal customers for deployment of information technologies and/or major services and products related to new growth and expansion efforts.

Management Functions:

  • Manage leadership expectations for timelines and deliverables throughout the project/program lifecycle.

  • Develop and gain sponsor approval for project delivery dates.

  • Engages and organizes the assignment of activities of multi-functional teams, as well as the project estimates, task dependencies and schedule.

  • Scope, risk and issue management, including documenting, communicating and facilitating resolutions or mitigation plans.

  • Develops, initiates and manages a communication plan, including regular program status reports.

  • Manages stakeholders and multiple project teams in the context of a single program.

  • Acts as a coach and mentor to others, especially (but not limited to) other staff.

Operational Functions:

  • Develops enterprise-wide cybersecurity awareness content, training schedules and conducts the campaigns.

  • Maintains all program artifacts.

  • Produces written communications, newsletter and online article content, translating from operational and technical communications, in partnership with our platform owners and subject matter experts.

  • Surfaces critical updates from across the Information Security, as well as HR, Mission, and Caregiver Engagement-focused communications that we help content submitters edit, draft, and format into an e-newsletter.

  • Create communications plans and drives the strategy and content creation for ad hoc communication and messages around timely organizational changes or leadership news and events. Prepares and delivers presentations to senior leadership, management and stakeholders.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience.

  • 9 years cybersecurity awareness and training exercises experience.

  • 5 years corporate and business communications experience.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Master's Degree.

  • CISSP Certification upon hire.

  • CISA Certification upon hire.
