Description
The Medical Assistant (MA) II works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. A MA II performs all aspects of the MA I role and is fully competent in the clinical needs/functions for assigned clinic/location of work. An MA II is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. These positions are located at various clinics across Providence Medical Group in the Portland Metro Area (Multnomah, Clackamas, Washington, and Yamhill Counties). You will have a choice of either a home clinic or to be part of our staffing resource pool and float between Many clinics in the Portland metro Area.

Required qualifications:
Has completed an accredited Medical Assistant program that includes an externship OR
Has completed two years medical training in the United States Armed Forces.
Upon Hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (Vendor Managed)
6 months healthcare experience.
6 months Medical Assistant experience.
