Providence Health & Services Personal Care Aide in Portland, Oregon
Providence is seeking a Personal Care Aide (PCA) to join our team at Elderplace Irvington Village Residential Care Facility in Portland, Oregon. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week), evening shift 2:00pm – 10:30pm, benefited position with a Wednesday - Sunday schedule. We are hiring immediately.

The Personal Care Aide (PCA) will provide personal care and assistance to Elderplace participants under the direction of a Registered Nurse. PCAs will assist participants with activities of daily living skills such as feeding, bathing, toileting, grooming and ambulation. In addition, they may perform basic household duties such as shopping, laundry, cleaning, meal prep and errands. Every PACE caregiver makes a difference in the lives of those they provide care for. Previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide, Hospice Aide, Patient Care Assistant or Personal Care Assistant in a skilled nursing facility, assisted living facility, nursing home or home health setting is a plus!

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) CPR
One (1) year of experience as a caregiver with elderly patients
High school diploma or equivalent education/experience
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Oregon
