We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician 1 Specialty Pharmacy Services - Home Services Specialty Pharmacy - who will perform duties relating to the filling and dispensing of medications from the pharmacy to the patient's home or appropriate facility.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Prepare medications (oral, injectable or IV solutions) for dispensing.
Completes documentation per state and federal regulations/guidelines.
Monitor patient transfers and discharges to assure continuance/discontinuance of patient medications.
Access Pyxis CII safe per policy. Corrects any discrepancies upon discovery. Informs supervisor of any irresolvable discrepancies/unusual occurrence.
Required qualifications for this position includes:
High School Diploma -OR- GED
Experience with Pharmacy Information Systems and Pyxis CII Safe
Experience using electronic medical records software
Current Oregon Board of Pharmacy Technician registration
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program
Inpatient, Long Term Care, or Specialty Pharmacy experience
