Providence is calling a Program Manager Ambulatory Services - General Administration (1.0 FTE, Days) to Providence Office Park in Portland, OR
We are seeking a Ambulatory Services Program Manager - General Administration that will report to the Regional Director of Ambulatory Operations and is responsible for the planning, organizing, managing and maintaining of various operational functions across the Ambulatory Division. Works closely with Ambulatory leaders to identify opportunities for improvement and standardization of business operations and processes within and across service lines. Works effectively and cooperatively with Ambulatory leadership and staff, Innovation/IS/Epic committees and enterprise-level groups to ensure implemented services and solutions meet the highest standard of patient care/support.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Ambulatory leaders to identify opportunities to streamline operational processes and workloads through automation and other means.
Be responsible for developing and implementing plans to optimize operational resources, timescales, monitoring and control
Provide regional standardization of office and other business processes that are conducted by patient-facing caregivers in administrate roles
Be responsible for developing standardized operational reporting across the Ambulatory division
Perform ongoing performance assessment, research and development of new capabilities, and systematically applies knowledge for Ambulatory division operational success
Document the functional and, sometimes, technical design of operational systems and processes
Establish and maintains relationships with Central Access Services, One Revenue Cycle and regional Patient Experience team to ensure seamless service in a patient centered environment
Facilitate the improvement of operational and financial outcomes by collaborating with division service line leaders and staff, other members of Providence Oregon leadership, and clinicians
Required qualifications for this position includes:
Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare administration, business administration, public health, -OR- related field
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in healthcare operations or administrative roles
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Master's Degree in Healthcare administration, business administration, public health, or related field
