Providence Contract Sourcing Administrator in Renton, Washington


The Contract Sourcing Administrator will be responsible for the daily administration of supplier contracts and notifications. Contract Sourcing Administrator will manage the contract lifecycle by ensuring contract loads and changes, price audits, repository and contract terms are processed in a timely manner. Contract Sourcing Administrator will work directly with suppliers to ensure the timely and accurate administration of contracts, and the resolution of issues. Monitor both supplier compliance with contractual obligations and production trends through analytics and root cause analysis. Provide recommendations to management for process improvements based on analytical findings. Develop system and departmental subject matter expertise and participate as a team member on projects. Develop strong relationships and support issue resolution for business partners and customers. Uses critical thinking, data analysis, research, and contract compliance knowledge to provide exceptional customer service.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Support new contract loads and changes. Supports stakeholders with price audit and discrepancy issues.

  • Supports Epic team with ensuring accurate contract data is interfaced to Optime.

  • Supports new acquisition go-live activity for Strategic Sourcing.

  • Apply and enforce procurement practices in accordance with the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) and accounting practices for establishing appropriate inventory management controls in conjunction with established system technical accounting bulletins (TAB) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

  • Monitors vendor performance objectives. Proven track record in successfully maintaining key accounts, as well as research and analysis capabilities.

  • Responsible for implementing strategy for contract data clean-up. Communicate effectively with Region and Facility based executive and operations leadership to ensure that on going contract data clean-up is progressing per timeline.

  • Develop and maintain price management analysis tools and reports.

  • Support and manage the REH strategic plan for Strategic Sourcing contracts and monitors contract compliance. Responsible for maintaining system-wide contracts database. Able to use database tools to analyze and identify price management opportunities.

  • Interact with GPO to utilize available analytical tools and data in support of price management initiatives.

  • Responsible for managing contract expiration and renewals and notifying key stakeholders. Ensure proper loading of contracted pricing and reviews for accuracy over course of contract life.

  • Responsible for assisting Manager Strategic Sourcing, Price Management in developing price management strategy.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Business or Finance, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

  • 3 years Contracting and purchasing or related educational experience.

  • 3 years Contract Management and Contract Negotiations experience or a blend of healthcare or educational experience.

Preferred qualification:

  • IT Sourcing: Preference will be given to applicants with IT, or Healthcare experience.
