The Executive Director of PME Planning is responsible for building the strategy for the Patient and Market Experience (PME) and for executing the detailed plan to ensure the strategy for the next fiscal year is successful. They will direct all administrative, financial and operational activities for the PME organization. Organizes and prioritizes critical issues and required information to facilitate good decision making. Provides oversight and guidance on critical projects leading to standardization, and improved patient outcomes. Approves policies developed within the organization. The role will partner closely with Revenue Cycle Leadership team and PME Leadership team. This is a critical role to the success of the PME organization and ultimately the experience of our patients.
Essential Functions
Partner with key leaders to bring to life the long term vision of the PME function and work with other members of the leadership team to ensure a comprehensive strategy, prioritizing the key business and financial outcomes.
Partner with Finance on the forecasting process from beginning to end. Continuously seek to improve the efficiency, accuracy and timeliness of the forecasting process, while providing operational financial metrics to improve execution.
Working with business unit leadership; define, create, and deliver other key performance metrics as well as help drive ownership of metrics and performance.
Establish and monitor team and program performance goals.
Lead the preparation of the monthly strategic reporting and quarterly corporate business review.
Lead special strategic projects bringing multi-disciplinary experience (Waterfall, Agile) to successfully execute on set objectives.
Direct continuous improvement efforts resulting in improved patient and caregiver experience.
Evaluate synergy opportunities and risks across PME.
Negotiate key documents and serve as the subject matter expert on applicable Revenue Cycle policies with an eye toward modernization.
Results oriented leader who expects and fosters innovation on their team. Inspires passion in others especially those outside the direct reporting relationship.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and focus on tactical execution at the same time.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.
10 or more years working in a strategy and planning, finance, business program manager role.
10 or more years experience in high tech, healthcare, or financial services oriented company.
Experience presenting to and communicating with senior leadership.
