Providence Health & Services Senior Finance Manager in Renton, Washington
Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Senior Finance Manager. This position can work 100% remotely and is open to candidates residing in Alaska, Washington, Montana, Oregon, California or Texas.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Lead the development of actionable insights and analyses in written, graphical, and verbal formats to inform and empower senior leadership across the organization.
Partner directly with one or two of our Executive Leaders (SVP, EVP) and their leadership teams (GVP, SVP) in managing their resources (EBIDA budgets of $25M to $100M).
Present executive quality financial and operational performance insights to leadership teams. This includes monitoring and analyzing business health, Profit & Loss trends and key drivers across the system, regions and lines of businesses.
Build a portfolio of analytical processes and deliverables aimed at proactively identifying and monitoring business risks and opportunities as well as value-creating business insights.
Deliver comprehensive Profit & Loss analysis, insights and forward-looking guidance to senior management, rating agencies, and the board of directors. This work directly impacts how stakeholders perceive the financial outlook for Providence.
Proactively analyze trends both external and internal to qualify potential risks and opportunities to our business operations.
Collaborate with analysts to build necessary data sets, visualizations and analyses to craft impactful stories to influence decisions across the health system.
Design and implement self-service business intelligence capabilities (i.e. Tableau and Power BI views) for the organization around financial and operating performance and drivers.
Contribute to the creation of Financial Planning & Analysis best practices for planning, forecasting, and analytics.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Master’s degree in accounting, economics, or closely related;
5 years of experience as a financial analyst or accountant, or related profession.
Employer will also accept a Bachelor’s degree in the above fields and 8 years of experience as a financial analyst or accountant or related profession.
All candidates must have:
Advisory/consulting company experience with understanding of strategic investment evaluation, including M&A deal set up and post- acquisition integration processes.
Knowledge of specific technical accounting standards - revenue recognition; and prior controls and audit experience.
Experience may be gained concurrently.
