Providence Health & Services Senior Supply Chain Analyst in Renton, Washington
Providence is calling a Senior Supply Chain Analyst to Providence Health & Services in Renton, WA.
We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Analyst to provide systematic business and technical support to key Providence decision-making bodies using sophisticated automation and programming techniques. The Senior Supply Chain Analyst collects and manages large sets of complex data, and facilitates business discussions to ensure analytic needs are met. Projects are data driven and involve quantitative analysis, together with qualitative factors. The Senior Supply Chain Analyst meets the business requirements of the Office of Supply Chain Management and Resource Councils through the automated design and performance of supply chain analysis.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Collect and analyzes complex supply chain data sets to identify optimal decision outcomes in the supply chain management contract negotiation process.
Make Recommendations to resource councils, leading presentations of findings and coordinating councils toward consensus.
Develop value added reporting utilizing Excel, Access, Hyperion, Lawson, and other reporting tools, automating using VBA where appropriate.
Massage and consolidates variety of data sources and executes a process of data standardization to improve the integrity of the data.
Identify opportunities for improved systems and data analysis within Providence; work to escalate opportunities for consideration and resolution.
Maintain data collection templates and distribute as requested.
Prepare documentation on data collection and reporting processes.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelors’ degree - health Information Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
5 Years relevant experience in advanced data collection and analysis, including experience in supply chain, distribution, warehouse or logistics sectors.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Empirical approach to problem solving with strong attention to detail with the ability to quickly identify and resolve data issues/needs.
Ability to understand both strategic impact of decisions yet able to operate at a tactical level to accomplish tasks with proven ability to take initiative to solve problems independently.
