Providence Health & Services Admissions Coordinator in Seattle, Washington
Providence is calling an Admissions Coordinator (Admissions, Day Shift, 1.0 FTE, 40hrs/wk) to Providence Mount St. Vincent in Seattle, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Help ensure that census and occupancy is maintained to budgeted levels.
Run billing reports and provide other data as requested.
Complete initial screening of all new referrals. Identify the level of care, acuity and equipment needs to do the initial placement assessment. Seek out consultation from manager as needed.
Ensure the admission process and procedures are resident directed while complying with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, and requirements.
Provide on-site tours; handle extensive phone work.
Maintain and update records that will contain accurate information on and for residents, family, Managed Care Providers, Hospice, and Medicare/Medicaid.
Assist with outside presentations to physicians, hospitals, discharge planners, social workers, and other community members as requested.
Required qualifications for this position include:
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Human Services is preferred. Additional work experience may be considered in lieu of the degree.
2 or more years of experience in long term care, clinical case management and admissions
2 or more years of experience in a business development or sales environment
