Providence Health & Services Gift Shop Manager in Seattle, Washington


Providence is calling a Manager Gift Shop (Auxiliary Groups, Day Shift, 0.5 FTE) to Providence Mount St. Vincent in Seattle, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.

In this position you will:

  • Complete daily operation of Espresso Cart - opening, closing, cash register receipt; Purchasing adequate and cost efficient inventory; Supervision of Espresso staff; Promotion, stability, and marketability of Espresso Cart; Maintaining machinery at maximum potential; Achieving sales quota to be reviewed quarterly; Maintaining clean sanitary and marketability; Soliciting customer feedback on services to customers; Other duties as assigned.

  • Be responsible for coordination and supervision of volunteers; Opening and closing procedures including cash receipts; Cleanliness of area; Assisting with purchasing, pricing and inventory control; Purchasing gift shop merchandise, display and marketing; Coordinates invoicing, including shipments received and payments due; Quarterly meeting with supervisor reviewing shop's performance; Responsibly keeping within monetary guidelines of established budget; Meeting sales quota; Other duties as assigned.


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • High School Diploma or GED (General Equivalency Degree)

  • Food handler's permit

  • 2 years of customer service experience

  • Dietary or restaurant experience
